America is a nation of immigrants. Other than Native Americans, who also may have originated on another continent, everyone else got here first from somewhere else. After that, you got ‘native borns’. The colonies were founded by different European nations, and when America rebelled and won its freedom, you had people here from all over the globe, uniting as one, as Americans.

Throughout the years people have desired to come to America and be a part of this experience. Most people when the came bought in to the American dream and chose to be an American first. First generations didn’t lose their heritage, they just assimilated that into their new American once. You may be Irish, but you are American. You may have come from Italy, but dammit, you are an American! There was a pride in that and also a process for making it happen. it’s called Legal Immigration.

Now you have mobs of people running for our borders with no desire to be here other than for the free stuff that Democrats are promising them. New York is handing out debit cards of $1400 a month to illegal immigrants. Meanwhile New York residents are struggling to provide food for themselves, or high gas prices. Cities across America are renting up entire hotels to house illegal immigrants. And you pay for it. Are these people trying their best to assimilate? Become Americans? Some, perhaps. others, not so much.

There are illegal immigrant bloggers and youtubers making videos about how they are gaming the system, telling people just what to say so that the Democrats will assign them an asylum hearing years in the future that they won’t show up for and how to get ‘papers’. There are even some advising illegal immigrants on how to become squatters and steal other people’s stuff. How’s that for grateful?

What can we do? Sadly, not much if you keep electing Democrats. What is needed is at least 8 years of a STRONG Republican leadership who will do a few things right.

1. Close the border. Yes, no more immigration for at least 8 years. Even if you take the lowball numbers from this current administration, thats 15 MILLION people we need to absorb and deal with. That takes time, and money. The whole system needs a pause.
2. Deport everyone you can catch. And actually try and catch them.
3. Build a wall. Don’t say they don’t work. There is a wall between Gaza and Egypt that seems to be doing a pretty damn good job keeping the POS Palestinians from getting to Egypt. There is also a pretty damn good wall between Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Walls work.
4. Use force if necessary to stop border invasions. Face it, that’s what they are. We are a Sovern nation and have every right to protect our borders and let in, or keep out, anyone we choose.
5. If someone wishes to make an actual valid asylum claim, they can remain on the other side of the border until such time as a hearing can take place. Oh, and the usual rules for asylum are that you are supposed to stop at the first place you can get to, not traverse thru several countries until you get to one that will hand you free stuff.
6. Seriously fine and jail ANY employer hiring illegal aliens. There are temporary work programs for farmers to get the help the use. Companies like Tyson, that are closing a plant with American workers yet holding job fairs to hire illegals should be fined out of existence.
7. Since countries like Mexico are doing all they can to facilitate sending us people we don’t need or want, it’s time to tax remittances to the top 10 places that send us illegal aliens by 25%. $51 BILLION was sent to Mexico alone last year. That’s money taken OUT of our economy, which hurts our economy. An extra $15 billion or so would be nice to have, right? Democrats should be on board with this, since they like to tax just about everything else. Strangely, they are not.
8. No drivers licenses or IDs for illegals. If they are illegal, get the fuck OUT! And you must have a LEGAL ID to receive any government service or benefit.

The above is a start. Criticism of what I just wrote will often start out as claiming I am anti-immigrant. I am anti-ILLEGAL immigrant. If you want to be here, go thru the process. Become an American. It used to be that you had to be sponsored by someone who would promise that you wouldn’t be a ‘burden to society’. Now we seem to want to accept all the burden.
