OKEECHOBEE, Fla. (CBS12) — Three teens were fired and arrested for reportedly spitting into Okeechobee County deputies’ food.
Two uniformed, on-duty deputies stopped at the Highway 55 Restaurant for dinner last Saturday, according to the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office. It was later discovered that three teenage employees conspired to spit in the deputies’ food
An anonymous person later notified the restaurant owners what happened.
The owners immediately watched surveillance footage that confirmed the accusations, the sheriff’s office said. The three employees were immediately fired and Okeechobee police were called.
According to the sheriff’s office, the owners were “quite upset” and were fully cooperative.
The three employees were each charged with Florida Anti-Tampering Act – Food, a first-degree felony, and battery on a law enforcement officer, a third-degree felony, according to the sheriff’s office. They were taken to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
“There is no excuse for actions such as this and will not be tolerated,” Sheriff Noel E. Stephen said.
The deputies were notified and they don’t need treatment at this point
OK people, WTF! If this were to have happened to me, I would end up in jail because those little shits would be in the hospital. Well, maybe not, because I would take my time and cover my tracks, but you get the picture. You do not fuck with another person’s food because your political beliefs are different than theirs. Florida has a pretty tough law regarding this. I sincerely hope that these three assholes get the maximum penalty. Good luck getting an nice job with 2 felonies on your record, dumbasses. However in this day it seems that many lefties get away with crap like this. Even when arrested they seem to get off with probation instead of a harsh penalty to help make sure that it sticks in memory to NOT DO THAT AGAIN!
The sheriff’s department released a statement:
The high school students were each charged with Florida Anti-Tampering Act- Food, a 1st Degree Felony and Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer (LEO), a 3rd Degree Felony.
All were transported to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
Sheriff Noel E. Stephen stated,”There is no excuse for actions such as this and will not be tolerated.” The deputies were notified and treatment is not required at this point.
Hopefully that means they aren’t screwing around and they make sure some sympathetic DA lets them off with probation. If so, perhaps the officers can just happen to come across the youths some day while off duty in a dark secluded alley somewhere and show them what street justice really is.
